They‘re two main types of snowboards. Freestyle snowboards and a free ride snowboard. Freestyle boards are mainly owned by riders that send a lot of time in the board park of the mountain. They come in many lengths, widths, shapes, and flexes. A freestyle boards (on the right) is defined as a shape conductive to the forward and switch (backward) riding positions. They ride with a softer flex than a free ride board.
