G-Unit is the
biggest rap group at the moment. They have had hit songs such as "Stunt
101" and "Poppin' Them Thangs." There are 7 members right now but only 5
of them are well known. All of the members of G-Unit are 50 Cent, Lloyd
Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Olivia, Mobb Deep, and Spider Loc. The
most recent member is Spider Loc.
G-Unit was formed by Marshal Mathers also known as Eminem. He has had hit songs such as "Without Me" and "Just Lose It." Eminem also has his own rap group named D12. It consists of six members including Eminem.
And another person that helped create G-Unit was Dr Dre. He also was in a rap group that was popular in the early 90's called N.W.A. I had five mebers. But it broke up when one of the members name 'Ice Cube" decided to rap solo. So now Dr. Dre is producing rappers such as 50 Cent, Eminem and The Game who is also under the G-Unit record label but he is not a member of G-Unit. |
