Mary-Kate and
Ashley started their acting careers at the age of nine months in 1987.
They began Sharing a star role as Michelle Tanner on the TV sitcom Full
House. The show was a large success and ran for about nine years. |

Soon after the
show ended, Mary-Kate and Ashley teamed up with Robert Thorne and
created their production company called Dualstar. At the age of
nine, they became the youngest producers in history. They have
released more than 30 straight-to-video movies within their company
before they even turned 12. |

Their first album
titled Brother for Sale, selling over 8 million copies, and their first
straight-to-video movie To Grandmothers House We Go, brought in

Along with their movies, Ashley and Mary-Kate
the have over 100
books, 18 albums, a doll collection, video games, clothing and beauty
lines, and a bedroom line, including sheets, furniture, and carpets. |

They are focusing more on their company and schoolwork right now and
laying off of the acting. They have recently come out with a line
for girls rooms. They are also now the co-presidents of Dualstar
since they turned eighteen on June 13, 2004. |
