Animal Crossing DS is a new game for the Nintendo DS. It came out December 5th 2005.It is the third in it's series. The first one was for the N-64, Nintendo 64 Bit system. Then it came out on the Gamecube with more features. Now its on the DS with even more features for it. The Nintendo system really took complete control of the customization feature in this version and will be talked about a lot.

One of the new things in this game is the characters. Other than the people normally in the game for everyone there are extra people. The extra people are the townsfolk. Just like regular towns people they can move in or out of your town whenever they want, but you can only have a maximum of nine townsfolk, including yourself, in your town. The people who are automatically in your town are Tom Nook, Blathers, Mabel, Sabel, Tortimer, and the mail office people.

This is a picture of Tom Nook. He runs the shop in town, Nook's Cranny. The shop he runs can be upgraded to Nookway, Nookington's, and Nook N' Go, after you sell some amount of money . Tom Nook just cares about business. He is the one who built your house, in the game, and doesn't care how you get it to him.

These are the Able Sisters. The one on the left is Mabel and the one to the right is Sabel. They run the Tailor Shop in town. The Sisters Are very nice and love costumers. In the Tailor Shop you can make different Design's for various things. If you really want to take the time you can change your town from a boring forest to an amazing water world!

With patience and precision you can turn your little town to a water world. (like the one on the right) All you have to do is go up to the tailor and make a design that looks like water. Then you go through your town and put it every where you can and you have a water world!

After designing your town your townspeople will notice. They even walk on the paths you make! The water world is fun for everyone in the game and out.

Besides making a new world you can design hats and clothing. A few are shown below. There are many possibilities for all the designs you can make.
