The ninth book is called the Carnivorous Carnival. In this book the orphans go to a carnival and they have to dress up so Olaf can not notice them. they have to live in the freaks tent. Then they find out how Olaf is always finding them. He is using a gypsy. They then have to get away from Olaf, but they have to get eaten by a lion. they then get away. The only way they could get away is to go with Olaf. Olaf then finds out their identity and takes Sunny. Olaf makes the cart that the two oldest orphans are in start to go down a hill. This is where the book ends.

The tenth book is called the Slippery Slope. In this book the two oldest have to keep warm and find Sunny. they find people and Carmelita Spats from the fifth book. they then meet a person named Quigley Quagmire, the long lost brother of the Quagmire triplets. they then find out that Olaf is looking for a sugar bowl. they then get away just in time. Read the book to find out the rest of the story.

The eleventh book is called the Grim Grotto. In this book the Baudelaire's have to get out of the icy water and they lost their friend, Quigley. They end up on a submarine with a captain named Captain Widdershins. They meet Phil again from the fourth book. They also meet Captain Widdershins' niece. Her name is Fiona. She likes book just like Klaus but she likes books about fungi. They have to find the sugar bowl before Olaf so they go to a cave. The sub can not go in to the cave so they have to scuba dive. When the get to the shore in the cave the find junk. The junk came from a secret headquarters that was burned down. When they get back to the sub, the captain and Phil are not there. They find out that a fungus was trapped in Sunny's helmet. They are not allowed to open the helmet. They find out that one of Olaf's assistants is Fiona's long lost brother, the hook handed man. He helps them escape from Olaf. Fiona becomes one of Olaf's helpers. Before she left them she kissed Klaus. The orphan's got a letter from Quigley. They took the sub and went to the shore. Mr. Poe was there but Violet said that they can not go with him. And they went in the taxi and they meet Kit Snicket.

The Twelfth book is called the Penultimate Peril. In this book they go to a hotel and become bell hops. They find out that all their past guardians were there. They have a lot of things happen to them and they don't know what to do with all the things that happen. In the end the only way to get away from the hotel which was put on fire, by Olaf, was to go with Olaf. This is the second to last book. There is one more book but it is not out now.
