Ron is Harry's best friend. He is very tall, and thin boy with red hair. Ron is one of seven. The red hair runs in his family. His family is poor and Ron is sort of ashamed of that and even though his family is pureblood (their whole family is magical) people still look down on them because of them not having that much money. Harry and Hermione are always by his side though. Ron is smart but he does not always use his head.

Ron sort of feels jealous of Harry at times. Ron feels like Harry gets everything, but he does not. That is not true though. Ron does get some attention. Ron always gets attention when they defeat some sort of trouble. He is always there when Harry needs him, and Harry is always there when Ron needs him. They are sort of like brothers. They argue, they get jealous of each other, but whenever one of them needs help the other is there for them. That is how they are like brothers.

Ron really likes to play a game called wizards chess. It is like the real game of chess except for the figures move. In one of the books the three friends had to get past a giant chess set, and they had to play to get across. Ron led and they were able to get past the chess board to where they had to go.

That is what Ron is like. He is a funny, interesting boy that will always be there for Harry no matter what.
