HIM’s influences come mainly from their thoughts and experiences with love and death.  HIM has very many CD’s like Razorblade Romance which focuses on the hard relationships and how the temptations and complications of love can greatly change how well your relationships hold up.  HIM’s very diverse sound has made them a big hit in both Finland and America.  HIM also has a few other CD’s one of which is called Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights.  The CD Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights has many great songs and one of them is called Salt In Our Wounds.  This song is about how love is a crazy thing that can leave you lonely and how sometimes when you are in love problems can come up and hurt you more than you ever expected.  Also, another song is called Heartache Every Moment.  That song is about how you never want to give up on love and when you finally find someone there is still heartache when you expect your heartache to be relieved.  The song Don’t Close Your Heart can be found on the Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights album.  The song is about how even though love can be a terrible thing that is so cruel at times but you should never stop loving people.  It also means that you should always let yourself be loved even though it can be tough.  HIM has been very successful in their music carrier all over the nation and they are slowly starting to come out and become known after all their years of hard work.
