Element was established in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992. The founder and president of the company, Johnny Schillereff, invented the logo (above) as being the life of natural wood and being "one" with the board. 

Blind is a skateboard company founded by, Mark Gonzales. They sell decks, wheels, clothes, and accessories. The company was Established in 1991. Also it has professional skateboarders that appear is many skateboard competitions that are on this Blind's team. 

World Industries was created in 1988 by a group of professional skateboarders. In 1989 they had cartoon designs put on the boards to make them stand out on the market. World Industries had many problems with trying to keep partners so that they could stay open. But they went from four partners to two. But they managed to stay in business, and became a big success.

Independent was established in 1978. It started as a truck company, but it now sells trucks, clothes, and accessories. Independent makes some of the best trucks on the market.

Shortys was created on January 13, 2000. The skaters on this team are Chad Muska, Brandon Turner, Sam Baptista, Rodrigo Lima, Andrew Pott, and Wes Kremer. Shortys sells  skateboards, trucks, hardware, clothes, and accessories.

Birdhouse was founded by Tony Hawk and Per Welinder. Birdhouse  started to die when skateboarding began to die. But skateboarding   went through a cycle and Birdhouse became on of the biggest skateboard industries there is.
