Season 1- During season 1 two highly wealthy, young, heiress' go from Los Angeles' upper class to a farm in Arkansas to prove they can live life without their credit cards and cell phones.  As Nicole Richie (daughter of pop star singer Lionel Richie) and hotel heiress Paris Hilton move in with the Ledings to do farm and house work.  They also tried several jobs such as: at a dairy farm, livestock auction, and at a fast food joint.

Season 2-  The two girls are back for another season.  In The Simple Life 2: Road Trip, Paris and Nicole go on a road trip to Beverly Hills from Miami Beach, accompanied with their dogs Tinkerbell and Beyonce.  Along the way they will come across several families and jobs.  The jobs they will be taking on include cattle ranching, being cops, maids, and many more!

Season 3- The infamous socialites Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton returned for more.  In this season they live in a Greyhound bus traveling down the East Coast. Along the way they spend days living with families and attempt to land intern ships.  With that they try at being flight attendants, mechanics, firefighters, and mailroom workers.
