Helicopter History Helicopters were invented in the 1960’ss. The US used them against the Vietnam guerillas. They came out in the open and fired at the guerillas until they took cover. Moments later, helicopters carrying troops would appear and the soldiers would take over the enemy easily. This was one of the best attack plans in the Vietnam War. |
