Ashlee Nicole Simpson was born October 3, 1984 in Waco Texas. She was raised in Dallas Texas. Ashlee just had her 21st birthday party in Las Vegas with her friends and family. Ashlee is 5 feet 7 inches and has green eyes. Her hair in naturally blonde but about a year ago she dyed it black. Just in the last couple of months Ashlee dyed it back to her natural blonde again.

Ashlee started dancing at age four by age eleven she was the youngest kid ever admitted in the prestigious School of American Ballet. At age 14 Ashlee and her family moved to Los Anglos. When she lived with her parents in LA she had a garage band. Ashlee appeared on Malcom in the Middle and The View, which lead up to her role on seventh heaven as Cecilia Smith.

Ashlee Simpson has two albums. Her latest album called I Am Me, which came out October 18, 2005. Also Autobiography, which came out on July 20, 2004. Both of the albums debuted at number one.

Ashlee has been on a couple of shows and been in a few movies but they were manly small acts. She was in undiscovered in 2005 and in 2004 she played a small role in Raise Your Voice. From 2002 to 2004 she played Cecilia Smith on Seventh heaven. If any one thinks of Ashlee as an actress it is probably from that show. Ashlee Simpson also played a really small role as Monique in Hot Chick in 2002.

Ashlee didn't grow up around a big family. Her dads name is Joe Simpson and he is her Dadager (which is Dad plus Manager). Tina Simpson is her mother and the well-known Jessica Simpson is her sister. Ashlee doesn't have any real brothers but she has a brother-in-law, Nick Lachey. Jessica gave her a bracelet that says, " If you dream it, you can be it" and she still has it. Jessica and Ashlee's relationship is so strong Ashlee was a backup dancer for Jessica for three years.

Ashlee Simpson went on Saturday Night Live and according to her reps she had acid reflex disease and it was meshing up her singing. So her father/ manager and the doctors decide to play a background tape (which is know as guide voice) to support her through the song. When the wrong tape was played she looked like a fool on LIVE television. Ashlee Simpson had to do something about the incident so she went back on SNL and nailed her performance proving to all the haters and to her fans that she can sing. 

Ashlee Simpson has a lot of interesting facts her is a couple. Her zodiac sign is Libra and she loves vintage clothes. Ashlee's musical influences are Courtney Love, Alanis Morissette, Ani Difranco and Fiona Apple. Ashlee's biggest influence is Jessica her sister. They are best friends and they were even on the cover of Teen People together.
