For dance shoes you will want to go to a store that specializes in dance shoes. Therefore you will have shoes that fit and feel better than if you would go to a store that didn’t specialize in dance shoes. They shouldn’t be too loose or too tight, they should fit perfectly. Your turn out in the upper part of you legs, but you don’t lift your heels off the ground. A grande plié is pretty much the same as a demi-plié but you lift your heels off the ground

First Position Have your feet turned out with your heels touching. You should turn your feet our by using your hips.

Second Position In second you will keep your toes in the same line as first, but there should be space between your heels.

Third Position In third poison you will cross one foot halfway in front of the other. In third you still want to keep your turnout.
