this is a full-faced helmet.  a full faced helmet is not  an ordinary helmet.  it was invented not only to protect your head, but to also protect your face.  this form of helmet is usually used by B.M.X .racers it is a requirement to wear one if you want to race.

these are not ordinary shoes.  they were designed for the most possible traction.  you don't have to have a special shoe to ride though.  as long as your current shoes have good grip, you wont have to worry about slipping off of your pedals.
