The Background Information

       Beauty and the Beast have a couple many variations of the story. The first Beauty and the Beast appeared in 1740. It was made up by Madame Gabrielle de Villeneuve. A lot of this very first story resembles a lot in Walt Disney's movie. In Madame Gabrielle de Villeneuves' story, the Transformation of the beast into a princes does not take place until the the wedding night. The Beauty has multiple dreams during the story in which

 the prince tries to make Beauty realize the beasts true form behind the beastly appearance to help rescue him from the spell put on him . Beauty does not understand his message and she must fall in love before he does.

      Another version was made sixteen years later in 1756 by Le Prince de Beaumont. In her version she also has a self-satisfying young woman who will find as much happiness as Beauty does at the end of the story.

the movie was also released. Paige O' Hara landed (became) the part of Belles voiuce and Robby Benson was the voice of the beast.

The Story of Beauty and the Beast

      Long ago a young woman was forced to live in a castle with a fiecre beast. Her name was Belle. Instead of her father being held captive, she went in his place.

      The beast treats her well and sees her everyday. Belle agrees each night to have supper with the beast. As time goes on she begins to look forward to the suppers, but yet he does not trust him.

      After he gave care by feeding the birds and protecting her from the wolves, she began to trust him. The beast became happy again, that she saw through his appearances. For this he gave her a gift, and an enormous library. 

      One night the beast had prepared a beautiful supper for a special occasion. That night they danced with happiness and joy to a love song. Later that evening the beast told Belle she was free or go and could not keep her prisoner, for he loved her.

      Belle left the beast, her friends, and the castle to visit her ill father. The beasts heart was broken. Villagers went to attack him and 6the beast let them come in without a fight. The beast was hurt.

      Belle only then realized that she belonged with the beast. Belle told him she loved him. Belle did not know that love needed to be formed before the last rose petal fell off the rose to break the beasts spell. Beams of light poured down onto the beast and he became human as well as her friends. When Belle realizes the prince is the caring beast, the danced in timeless love and will always remember the Beauty and the Beast. The End.
