First, I'll tell you about lip-gloss. Lip-gloss is just a liquid that is used to shine your lips. Mascara, lip-gloss, and blush are your key makeup ingredients. Here is a tip for lip-gloss: when you are applying it, apply it over lipstick or on the naked lips. Remember that gloss would intensify and therefore, make your lips appear to be fuller. |

If you have a darker skin tone, chances are that you would look better with a darker lip-gloss. If you have a lighter skin tone, you can usually pull off both. The more natural look is clear lip-gloss. It just adds a shine to your lips and makes them look puffy and chic. |

Mascara, mascara, mascara; every girl wonders what she would do without their mascara! As I said before, you only need lip gloss, blush, and mascara to look like you have makeup on. Mascara is used to make your eyelashes look longer, curlier, cuter, blacker, or different colors. It has many different uses. There are tips on how to put mascara on your top lashes and onto the bottom. The mascara must be put on correctly; which is from the root to the tip of the eyelash. |

For the top, you must jiggle the mascara wand back and forth at the base of the lashes to deposit color before rolling the brush through your lashes. You have to glaze lashes from the root to the tip with full strokes. This strategy makes a thicker looking lash with the ends separated and the base well outlined. For the bottom lashes, hold the wand vertically when applying mascara, running it from side to side. Be very, very careful not to smudge the under eye area. Mascara is probably one of the most difficult makeup tools to use, but one of the most valuable. |

Foundation is what we shall "cover" next. As you can see here, foundation can also be known as cover-up or powder. Concealer and bronzer are also other types of foundation. Foundation can be extremely important for your face. First of all, if you happen to have a lighter face and need to look tanner, you ought to find a good shade of foundation for you. It mustn't be too dark or too light, because you could look orange or maybe even porcelain! |

Ah, eyeliner, my favorite type of makeup. Eyeliner comes in so many different varieties. You can sometimes use eyeliner to look like eye shadow, and put it on heavily. Eyeliner can be a pencil-looking type or it can come in a tube-ish container. A tip for eyeliner would be when using your eye pencil, open your mouth slightly to relax the eye muscles. It will make a lining a lot easier without having to pull or tug at the lid. You should also apply eyeliner as close as possible and even into the lashes to avoid the white line you sometimes get when liner and lashes don't connect. |
|
Last but CERTAINLY not least, we come to blush. Blush is a powder that you put on your cheekbones. It can be worn in two different areas. On the high cheekbone, or right on your dimples. Blush can really bring out women's faces; especially on stage. If you are pale, stick to a lighter blush. If you have a dark skin tone, red or browns are usually good for you. Blush gives your face complexion, and it makes it even more beautiful than you naturally are. Blush is wonderful. Well, that's all the makeup I can tell you about, so I hope you check out my other pages! |
