This punk rock trio, most commonly known as Green Day have become masters of their craft and accomplished more in just 16 years than most bands do in their entire career. Although most people think Green Day is a fairly new band, they are not. The band didn’t plan on becoming famous. They just loved making and sharing their music. Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass), and Tre Cool (drums) would have never guessed they would be where they are today. While starting out as three regular kids, to becoming a Grammy winning band Green Day have changed rock ‘n’ roll history. Eight albums later, Green Day are at the top of their game and don’t plan on retiring any time soon.
