College Sports

College basketball is a great sport, especially during March Madness.  Since it’s such a fast paced game, you never know who is going to win until the very end.

J.J. Redick is the best player on one of the best team.  He shoots clutch 3 pointers, dunks well, and plays great defense.  He is definitely a leader on Duke.

Dee Brown led Illinois to the almost perfect season (38-1) losing to Ohio State by a point in the final seconds of the last game.  He led Illinois all the way to the national championship.  He came short of a major comeback in the National Championship losing by 4.  Best of all he’s coming back for his senior year!

Daniel Gibson is also a First Team All-Big 12 player.  He was great last year, but he made a lot of freshman mistakes.  Now since he has had time to improve he could be the best guard in the country.

P.J. Tucker is First Team All-Big 12 Forward.  He was really good last season, but he couldn’t do much last season because, Texas was riddled with injuries.  This year they have the personnel to go all the way.

Carl Krauser has one of the weirdest shooting styles.  He shoots behind his head making it almost impossible to stuff him.  Even with his weird style, he still is very accurate making him a great point guard.

Gerry McNamara is one of the few players on Syracuse that won a National title, with Carmello Anthony.  He shoots 3 pointers amazingly and has excellent composure.

Kevin Pittsnogle led West Virginia to beat Boston College and become the Big East runner-up.  He led them to come back against Creighton and Wake forest.  They just flat out won against Texas Tech in the Sweet 26 before losing to Louisville in OT.

The 2005 National Champion North Carolina Tar Heels lost 7 players to graduation and the NBA draft.  David Noel is the only player left that got a lot of time and to prove himself as a player.  The Tar Heels will be better than people think, but they were left out in the preseason AP Poll.
