Personal life

Rachel was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in the section of Los Angeles. It was easy for Rachel to get a first hand look in the acting business because her father is a writer, producer, and director of many movies and shows. When she was a student at notre dame high school in California, she became very involved in drama, when she graduated and got an agent, she started to audition. Several hard years and dozens of auditions later, her hard work finally paid off. She landed guest starring roles in "8 simple rules", and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Then Rachel was asked to audition for The O.C... She nailed the audtion. On weekends, and days off Rachel likes to sleep in, go to a movie, or go shopping for vintage shoes and purses. She also loves to spoil her 4 year old sister, Hattie.

O.C. life

Rachel Bilson plays Summer Roberts on the O.C... She dates dorky quorky Seth Cohen and is best friends with Marissa Cooper. She has a one of a kind personality who is spunky, dramatic, and cute. She speaks her mind and doesn't put up with any crap. She will fight for her foursome, and herself. She is a great friend to marissa, and a hard to handle girlfriend to Seth. Summer is also very rich, and gets everything she wants because she is an only child.

Dating life with Adam

 Adam and Rachel have been dating for at least 2 years. When people started seeing them hitting parties and premieres together, they knew they had hooked up. As It may look in pictures; them always leaning on eachothers shoulders, always sitting together, they are not public at all. Adam and Rachel keep their relationship on the down low.

Friendship with Mischa Barton offscreen

      Mischa and Rachel have became pretty good friends during the O.C... Rachel says if she wasn't really good friends with Mischa , she doesn't know how they would work together. They hang out together on set a lot. They also go to parties together, and go shopping together.

Where was she before her acting career?

Rachel was always taking acting classes and auditioning for movies and TV shows. She was a student at Notre Dame high in California, and knew she wanted to act from there. She never got the part in anything, but she never gave up. Rachel believes in the quote "everything happens for a reason", and that came true. All that hard work put into auditioning and never making the cut finally pcaid off. God didn't let her make any serious TV show because she was meant for the O.C., now look where she is.

 Rachel grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Along with her father, mother, brother and sister. Her father Danny, is a Hollywood writer, producer, and director. Her mother Janice is an artist/counselor. Her brother John is 28 years old, and her sister Hattie, is 4 years old. Rachel grew up in a normal childhood, and great life.
