Welcome to the O.C. website. One of the most popular shows broadcasted across America. The O.C. has been on for 3 years now. It is currently the 3rd season. It is on every Thursday night at 8:00 pm. People judge this show in so many different ways, just by seeing previews on TV. Well just a heads up; you think you know, but you have no idea. Do you crave drama, and juicy twists in a show? Then the O.C. is just for you. The show is mostly about 4 teenagers who are best friends. They get the wildest problems thrown at them, but somehow they get through it together. But Summer, Seth Marissa, and Ryan have not always been best friends. To start off Marissa and summer have been best friends their whole lives. Seth was a comic book dork who nobody liked, but had a huge crush on summer since 5th grade. Ryan grew up in a ghetto life. His childhood was terrible. He lived in Chino, California. His childhood was terrible since day one. You could call it “8 mile chino style”. His dad is in prison, his mom is an alcoholic, and does not pick the best boyfriends. (One of them punched Ryan and kicked him out of the house). His older brother Trey is a delinquent. It all started when Ryan’s brother made Ryan steal a car with him. Well Ryan got the blame. Sandy Cohen (Seth’s dad) is a teenagers/kids lawyer. Well it just so happens that he ends up being Ryan’s. Sandy lived the life the life did but not half as bad. So sandy understands what Ryan’s going through. After Sandy fights for ryan not to go to jail, he gives Ryan a ride home back in chino. Ryan opens the door to find nobody in the house, no furniture, nothing; just all vacant. It seems to be that Ryan’s family has abandoned him. Sandy feels bad, and offers Ryan to spend a couple of nights at his house, just to figure stuff out. Well like any of mother would think (Kirsten Cohen) “you brought a delinquent home to stay with us!?” “you know nothing about him!”. Since Seth is a dork at school, nobody likes him. But his personality is one of kind!  So Seth and Ryan become best friends, and Seth gets more known because of Ryan; a.k.a. “chino”. That’s what the kids at school call him. So eventually Kirsten gives into Ryan and the Cohen’s adopt him. Do you believe in love at first site? Well you should because that’s how Marissa and Ryan met. So a bunch of things happened and Marissa wins Ryan over from Luke, (Marissa’s old boyfriend since 5th grade). “The jock/popular kid who acts like he’s tough, and is a jerk. Ryan helps Seth get Summer, and Ryan and Marissa go out, and Seth and Summer do too. Then the four of them end up doing everything together, and become best friends. The show is filled with drama, that to explain it, the book would be about 3 million pages. A ton of problems are thrown their way, in the rich Newport Beach, of Orange County. Everybody thinks that they are rich and perfect, but inside people are looking for more ways to make their lives miserable.
