O.C. life

Adam Brody plays Seth Cohen. Son of Sandy and Kirsten Cohen. Seth is very nerdy, but yet you just love him at the same time. He is so funny, and extremely sarcastic. Seth is also loving, sensitive and brave. Words can't even describe his personality. On the show he dates Summer Roberts (Marissa's Best Friend).  His family also adopted Ryan in the first season; they became best friends and step brothers.

Personal life

Adam Jared Brody was born on December 15th 1979, in San Diego, California. Like Ben, he is the oldest of 3 boys in his family. His parents are Mark, an attorney, and Valerie, a group artist. His younger brothers are twins, who are 19 years old and attend college. When Adam was a kid he played basketball, soccer, rode his bike, and skateboarded all around the neighborhood. Adams favorite game was ninja turtles. He was Raphael when him and his friends played. Adam started surfing in 6th grade, and then took it serious in 9th grade. “It was all I wanted to do” explains Adam. At 18, he finally graduated high school. He hadn’t a clue of what he wanted to do with his life. His father encouraged him to go to college, but he didn’t want to. So he decided to work at BlockBuster, surf, and go to community college. Adam thought that would lead to a “fantastic life”.  but he was wrong. He got bored after 2 weeks. Working around all those movies got him interested in acting.

Family life

Adam has a mom, dad, and 2 younger twin brothers; Sean and Matt. They are 20 years old and attend college. Adam was very young when his family moved to a San Diego suburb called Scripps Ranch. He says it was a great place to grow up. Adam had a very good family life.

Friendship with Ben and Group

The four of them hang a lot, and go to a lot of parties together. They are really good friends from being on The O.C. for their third year. Ben and Adam do a lot of hanging out on the weekends together too. But a lot of his time is obviously spent with his girlfriend, Rachel, on and off the set.

Pre career before The O.C.

 Adam has been on many shows before the O.C.. Adams first break was in a coffee shop scene in the TV series “ The Young and the Restless”. Then he went on to being Greg Brady in the movie “Growing up Brady”. The other shows he appeared in are “Once and Again”, “Judging Amy“, “Family Law”, and “Gilmore Girls“. He also had small roles in the movies “Grind”, “The Ring”, and “American Pie 2”.

Childhood

Adam grew up in the very safe suburb, Scripps Ranch. He was always playing with his friends and had a great supportive family. He was normal boy who played sports got good grades and had fun with his friends.
