This page is going to be about defense. I will be telling you if they are retired or how many goals or assists they have and if they have any awards.

Ray Bourque- He is retired and the last team he played for was the Boston Bruins. He had over 1000 assists in his career. He won the best defensemen in the league award five times and is in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Derek Morris- He is currently in the NHL. He went to the Stanley Cup in the 2003 and 2004 season but they lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning. He is currently on the Calgary Flames. He has 30 goals in his career and he has 99 assists.

Sergei Gonchar- He is still currently in the NHL. He has been the leading goal scorer for defensemen the last six years. He is currently on the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has 142 goals in his career. He has 230 assists in his career.  

Nicklas Lidstrom- He is currently in the NHL. He won the best defensemen award three times and they were all consecutive. He is currently on the Detroit Redwings. He has been to four Stanley Cups and won three of them. He has been on the Detroit Redwings for 12 consecutive seasons.

Brian Leetch-He is still currently in the NHL. He won the best defenseman award two times. He is currently on the Boston Bruins. He played on the USA team. He also got the most valuable player in the playoffs award one time.

Scott Stevens-He is retired and the last team he played for was the New Jersey Devils. He had 166 goals up until 1998 and he probably got a lot more after that. He won the most valuable player in the playoffs award one time.

Sergei Zubov- He is currently in the NHL on the Dallas Stars. He is probably the Stars best defenseman. He won the Stanley Cu p two times. He scored 105 goals in his career. He has 405 assists in his career.
