Mary Alice is the most mysterious of the housewives, because we only know bits and pieces of her story. She was a loving devoted wife who was generous to her friends. And was the last person anyone would think to shoot herself in the head. 

In death Mary Alice sees things she would not have seen in her life; all her old friends lies’ and secrets un fold right beneath her eyes, but doesn’t judge them but pity them for their ways of manipulate and hurt others. Mary Alice in a way represents a part of them. The other housewives decide to get to the bottom of her tragic suicide. They can’t seem to figure out why her husband and son are so odd. After finding a blackmail note in Mary Slice’s old clothes the women make a series of discoveries. It’s only a matter of time before the women learn about how Mary Alice has been hiding.

Over the course of the season Bree has come to the most damaging series of domestic dramas. As her life shifts in strange and ipredictable ways, Bree, like a flower opens up and becomes more complex, and more real. Although she wants to have the perfect marriage, she also wants her marriage to work. As the Van de Kamp struggle with their marriage, Bree has to deal with two angry children who seem to blame her for everything. When Andrew confesses that he was involed with a hit-and-run, this devoted mother hides the evidence so Andrew will be off the hook, and then realizes sadly that he doesn't feel at all repentant. The extremely religiously, moralistic Bree has birthed a child with no apparent moral compass. And the truth is that sinks in, Bree winders if she has failed as a parent. With her once-perfect family now fractured, Bree encounters a loss more painful than all the others. Rex [her husband] dies under mysterious circumstances, and Bree becomes a widow. Little does she know that George Williams, the pharmacist and her possible love interest, is the very man who killed him!

Caught between a man who adores her and one who gived her everything except the kind of love she wants. Gabrielleis sinking into despair. She is the woman who has all the material satisfactions anyone coupld hope for, yet no real joy. Spoiled and provided for, she is lonely and it is this loneliness that make her understand Mary Alice's terrible suicide. Her affair, illicit, sexy, and eviable, is the best thing she has going for her. As the young lovers become more serious the emotions run hay wire. She learns that John is falling in love with her and she starts to wonder if she feel the same way.

Lynette Svaco represents that person inside of all of us who cant seem to hold it all together. She is loveable because of her chaotic life, her struggles with her own children, and most important her ability to be honest about hem. How could anyone cope with the family Lynette has? She used to be a high-powered ad exec but now her husband travels alomst all the time and her ADD-affected boys and infant baby are driving her crazy. Lynette is fearless and able to say it like it is. Strung out and exhausted, she halluncinates that Mary Alice is offering her a revoler when she finally comes down, she thinks she is a terrible mother. Motherhood is a struggle with Lynette but she has her friends to help through. Frazzeled, but smart, and willful, who like many others, how generations of women did it. It doesn't help that her children are impossible to handle. But Lynetteis so driven that she tires to apply the same go-getter methods she used in the office, at home. And does not always work, worse, Tom seems to have no idea how harried she is. He's oblivious  to her plight and cluelessness only fuels her frustration.

Surprising Susan Mayer

 Susan Mayer, her best friend quality is the one that gets her in the most trouble: her huge, open heart. Bubbly, smart, and warm, Susan has a habit of opening herself too easily and seeing the best in everyone. As much as she wanted to be poised and confident, she is nothing like that.

Edie Britt

Edie Britt is the most reviled woman on Wisteria Lane, and yet her charmis that she doesn't really understand why. String willed and self-employed, when Edie sees something she wants nothing will stand in her way. Twice divorced, and a knockout. No wonder why she is the way she is, shes s self-made realtor and single mother who came from the wrong side of the tracks and had a troubled childhood. So at an early age, she learned not to rely on anyone but herself. But she is a misunderstood by the women of Westeria Lane, who view her as a menace and a threat. If any charecter highlights the cliquishness and snobbery of surburban women, it is Edie, who is shunned by nearly every woman in the neighborhood.
