Big Ben is his name…Why Big Ben? Maybe because he is 6’5 and weighs 241 lbs. He went in for injured Tommy Maddox in the 2nd game of the 2004 season. Ben proved himself and went 15-0 on his 1st season as a Steeler. He led the Steelers to the AFC championship but choked and lost. That is why “Big Ben” is Ben’s title.

To your right is a drawn out blueprint of what Heinz Field would look like before it was created. Well that is it. Heinz Field named after the owner of “Heinz Ketchup”. Many games have been played at Heinz with many more to come.

Jerome….Jerome…..Jerome. What a player, 2nd in Steelers history behind Franco Harris. In this picture he is running for a 17 yd touchdown reception. That was in old Three Rivers Stadium vs. the Jaguars. No man can stop the Bus.

The Tazmanian Devil, long haired Troy Polomalu is given that title because no matter where the ball is….he’s there with it. He is quick, can hit, and can accelerate. One of our best defensive players. No one can stop the All American from USC.

Shot in the leg and still coming for more. Joey Porter is the outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has tied the sack list with 35 ½ sacks. He has been captain and is a big leader for our team. You better Joey when he comes at you because he is coming hard.

Hines Ward leads the All Time reception list for the Steelers. 538 receptions broke the record, what a guy. He’s a 3 time Pro Bowler. He is quick and always smiles. Big Ben’s favorite target because they have that “connection”.
