Famous Players

This is a picture of one of the greatest Pittsburgh Steelers ever to play. Franco Harris. If you read in the History link, Franco Harris made the Immaculate Reception. He led the NFL in rushing yards when playing. He still holds the record for the Steelers. He was drafted 1st and we didn’t waste that pick. He was Pittsburgh’s tailback. (If you didn’t know).

Terry Bradshaw (right) was the best all time Quarterback for the Steelers. He had awareness, agility, and strength, everything a QB needed. He would strategize with Chuck Null to make the Steelers win football games. He was the best and always will be.

I cannot even explain this guy’s achievements. Two Super Bowl MVPs…amazing. Simply amazing. HE caught many Touchdowns to win games, playoff games…even a Super Bowl. He was number two on the list for receptions under John Stallworth. He was an even better receiver. Lynn Swann was one of the greatest Steelers of all time.

One of the hardest hitting defensive linemen ever. He would do anything to get a free shot at a QB. So many people feared lining up against him because there is a 99.9% chance that you would be hurting after that game was over. His name was “Mean” Joe Greene.

To the left was known as “Count Dracula in cleats” considering Lambert only had about 5 teeth. Linebacker Jack Lambert had 9 Pro Bowls in Hawaii. (1974-1983). He got hurt in 84’ but continued in 85’. He is certain to get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

This is a picture of John Stallworth catching a pass in Super Bowl XIII. The fans were astonished by his capability. Nobody could even imagine someone that good. He led the All Time Steelers record for receptions until November 13th, 2005 Hines Ward beat it with 538 receptions.
