Acapulco provides tourists with many things to do. It has activities for all ages and price ranges. Tourists may sail, surf, water ski, parachute over the bay, go to water parks, go scuba diving, golf, play tennis, watch cliff divers, and more. There is an endless variety of things to do in Acapulco. |

Sailing Sailing is a very common activity in Acapulco. There are competitions where people can build their own boat and race it, and there are also competitions for people to be judged on the best design.

Water Parks There are a variety of water parks in Acapulco. Some are small with only a few slides, and some are very large with plenty of different water rides and games. Acapulco’s water parks are excellent for large families.

Parachuting Parachuting is a very popular activity with tourists and locals. The person who is parachuting gets an amazing view of the entire resort below. Parachuting is offered in all of Acapulco’s beaches and bays.

Golfing Acapulco is known for its 18-hole championship courses including the Acapulco Princess Golf Course which was named one of the 25 greatest golf resorts. It has many lakes and narrow fairways. It is a very challenging course. The only 9-hole course in Acapulco, the Club de Golf, is also very challenging and has gardens built around the greens. Most golf courses in Acapulco do not offer golf carts but caddies are always available.

Scuba Diving Acapulco is a wonderful place to go scuba diving. The divers can swim to the Rio de Plata ship that sank in 1944 or swim through beautiful coral reefs. There are also places to learn how to scuba dive. Some examples are, Scuba center, one of Mexico’s best schools, and Diver’s de Mexico which is known for being very kind and giving great service to the customers.

Tours One of Acapulco’s first attractions was its natural beauty. Visitors can tour the tropical forests, lagoons, and surrounding areas.

Cliff Diving Acapulco’s most famous tourist attraction is watching divers dive off of the 130 foot cliff, La Quebrada. There are many opportunities to see this each day. The last show is at night, and the divers hold lit torches on their way down.
