Mischa has been acting since the age of nine. Her career began a lead role in Tony Kushner's "Slavs!". Soon after, she played the lead role of Emma Hatrick in "Twelve Dreams". In 1996 she played Lilly Bent Montgomery ion "All My Children". In 2000 she played Frankie in the TV show "Frankie and Hazel". She then indulged in an eight year contract for ABC's "Once And Again". In 2002 she filmed Disney's "A Ring of Endless Light" in Australia. She currently is starring on "The O.C." which she is best known for.

Mischa Anne Barton was born on the 24th of January 1986 in London, England. She has two siblings. Her older sister Zoe is a barrister in London, and her younger sister Hania is an aspiring singer. Although she was born in London, Mischa moved to New York and still maintains a British citizenship. Her mix of English and Irish heritage makes her truly unique.
