The White Sox pitchers have a considerable amount of talent, especially their rotation. This is why I will only cover the pitchers in their rotation. I will also talk about their young starting catcher. |

Mark Buerhle is the first pitcher in the White
Sox 2205 rotation. He is also probably the most skilled in the rotation.
With a 3.12 ERA( earned run average) and a record of seventeen wins and
seven losses, he is also among the most skilled in the entire league.
His strength and determination are what keeps him at this skill level. |

John Garland is next in the rotation. His
skills on the pitchers mound are second only to Mark Beurhle. Though it
is a fact that he is older and stronger than Buerhle, and he has been in
the White Sox club longer. By the end of the season he totaled a 3.50
ERA and a record of eighteen wins and ten losses. Though he ahs been in
the league for many years, John Garlands stats show that he still has
what it takes to be one of the top White Sox performers. |

| Jose Contreras is the third pitcher in the
White Sox rotation. Although his skills do not match that of Mark
Beurhles or John Garlands, he still has the ability to be a good,
hard-working pitcher. His stats last season were an ERA of 3.61, and an
over all record of fifteen wins and seven losses. |

Orlando Hernandez is the fourth and final
player in the White Sox rotation. He did an alright job in 2205, his
statistics showing an overall ERA of 5.12, and a total record of nine
wins and nine losses. This obviously shows that his win percentage is
.500, but the White Sox should still keep him for the amazing efforts he
put forth, although the lack of natural ability held him back a little. |
