Ashlee Nicole Simpson was born October 3, 1984 in Dallas, Texas.  She is the little sister of Jessica Simpson.  At age 4 she started dancing.  By age 11 she was the youngest person ever to be admitted in to the American Ballet.

A little later in her life she auditioned for a part on 7^th Heaven. She got the part and she was then Simon Camdan's girlfriend Cecila.  That was the start of her acting career.  She then got her own show on MTV called “The Ashlee Simpson Show”.  She also stared in the new movie “Undiscovered” as Clea.

She has 2 cd's out now.  Her first cd “Autobiography” sold over 3 million copies in the first week.  Her newest cd “I Am Me” has just come out into the stores.  This one might not sell as many copies as the last one did.

Ashlee’s on again off again boyfriend Ryan Cabrera is also a singer and has been on her show a few times.  It was kind of sad when they broke up.  Ashlee says “we broke up because of our crazy schedules.”  They have been seen together in many places and they are dating again.

Ashlee’s popularity with her fans has gone down after she decided to lip-synch on Saturday Night Live.  When she tries to fix it by singing at the Orange Bowl and she was booed off the stage. She also has a petition online to get her to stop singing.
