Chuck Noll was a head coach for the Steelers (1960-1991) and was elected in the Hall of Fame in 1993. He has won 4 Super Bowls IX, X, XIII, and XIV. Chuck Noll retired on Dec 26, 1991 and had coached 39 consecutive seasons. He also has the 5th most wins as coach in the NFL with 209-156-1.

The Steelers Have won 4 Super Bowls 9, 10, 13, and 14. They beat Oakland in their first Super Bowl 24-13. In Super Bowl 10 they won against the Cowboys 21-17. Then in 1978 Super Bowl 13 they beat Dallas again 35-31. In their last Super Bowl they beat the L.A. Rams 31-19 in 1979.

Art Rooney founder of the Steelers formed a team in 1931. When he formed the team he actually called them the Pittsburgh Pirates. In their first season they went 2-10. Later in 1940 he changed the name to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was elected in the Hall of Fame in 1964.

The Immaculate Reception was the most dramatic play in Steelers history. It took place at Pittsburgh against Oakland. It was a playoff game and the Steelers were trailing 7-6 with 22 seconds lest in the game. In the play Bradshaw threw a pass to Fuqua. When the ball arrived to him Tatum collided with Fuqua and the ball flew 15 yards. Next Franco Harris caught the ball in the air off his shoe tips. Then he ran 60 yards for the winning touchdown.
