If you like horror then Resident Evil is right for you. The Resident Evil Franchise has created 11 horrific games and another one in the making called Resident Evil 5. Like Tomb Raider, Resident Evil has two movies, Resident Evil and Resident Evil: Apocalypse. The name they use in Japan is Biohazard.

    The main story games are:

Resident Evil: 0 – This is where the story and history of the Umbrella corporation began. The S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue Squad) Bravo Team has been sent to investigate a series of murders in the Arklay Mountains. But these murders turn out to be stranger than we thought…

Resident Evil – After a day from not hearing from the Bravo Team, the Alpha Team is dispatched to find out what happened. But when they were attacked by dogs they flee to Spencer Mansion, and find out what is going on.

Resident Evil 2 – The outbreak has spreaded throughout Raccoon City and its up to Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy to stop it.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis – Leon and Claire failed, now its up to Jill Valentine to make everything right again.

Resident Evil 4 – This is set 6 years after Resident Evil 3. The Umbrella Corporation (the creators of the T-Virus) is finally destroyed. In this game the T-virus suddenly stops spreading.
