Grooming Your Dog!

When you groom your dog start grooming them when they are young. When you start grooming them groom them at eight to twelve weeks. When you got them from their mother, she kept them spiffy now it’s your turn. When you groom them make sure you make them comfortable, hold them, tickle them, petting them, and playing with them. Show them the comb and the brush. When you groom the pup make sure they are standing up.

When you start grooming, start brushing their teeth. When you start to brush, brush with your fingers and a gauze pad. Massage the gums in a circular motion. Then when your dog gets older introduce him to a toothbrush, and toothpaste. Do not use a regular toothbrush use a doggie toothbrush and doggie toothpaste.

Make sure you trim your dog’s toenails; you don’t want any click-clack noise around your house, do you? When you groom you will want to have your dog take a bath. When you bathe your dog, brush your dog’s hair before bathing. When you bathe your dog make sure you don’t get soap in your dog’s eyes. He will screech and yelp likes nobody’s business. When you groom your dog DON”T leave your dog alone!
