The Start

		When Mary-Kate and Ashley were about 7 years old, they became producers and were the youngest ever to hold that title. In 1992 the twin's first record "Brother For Sale", entered Billboards "Heatseekers" Chart and launched the Olsen phenomenon. In 2001 their Mary-Kate and Ashley clothing line went into stores. It rang up at least $400 million.
	. As you look at Mary-Kate and Ashley today, you probably think of them being a major success as the owners of a billion dollar company. Or you think of how adorable they were on Full House. In 1992 Mary-Kate and Ashley starred in To Grandmothers House We Go.
		. Later on they starred in Double, Double Toil and Trouble. They played Kelly and Lynn Farmer. In this movie they get themselves into trouble when they get involved with ghosts and witches.

		. In 1994 they starred in How the West was Fun. Mary-Kate and Ashley play Susie and Jessica Martin. In this movie they work together to convince their father to help save and old women's dude ranch from land developers.
		Then in 1998 they started the show Two of a Kind. The series ran from September 1999, with a total of 22 episodes produced.

Mary-Kate and Ashley returned to television in the summer of 2001 on the ABC family network for So Little Time. That show ran from June of 2001 until May 2002. That show had a total of 28 episodes. So Little Time focused on the junior high school adventures of Chloe and Riley Carlson.

The first big screen feature film was It Takes Two. This movie was a romantic comedy that involved Diane Barrows (Kirstie Alley), and Roger Calloway (Steve Guttenburg). Mary-Kate plays a tomboy named Amanda who lives in a New York Orphanage, where she developed a friendship with Diane Barrows.

Ashley plays Alyssa (who looks exactly like Amanda), daughter of Roger Galloway, who is a wealthy widower. Eventually Alyssa and Amanda find each other on accident and plan to bring Diane and Roger together, without Roger's fiancée getting in the way of their doing .
