Mary-Kate and Ashley were cast at the age of nine months back in 1987. The assumption at the time was that they would enjoy a couple of years playing a cute sitcom kid and they fade away and never be heard from again. But they are still American icons at the age of 19. |

Full House became one of television's most beloved shows. It started to run on air September 22, 1987. Mary-Kate and Ashley became very close to the others in the Tanner family. The tanner family was led by Bob Saget, who was the father of the twins. Mary-Kate and Ashley played the same role as Michelle. |

Later on, Jesse (John Stamos) falls in love with Rebecca Donaldson (Lori Loughlin). Mary-Kate and Ashley weren't the only sets of twins in Full House. After Jesse and Rebecca get married they have twins Nikki and Alex. They are played by Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit. |

After the first season no one thought that the show was going to go on any longer, but it did. John Stamos and Bob Saget may seem to be good friends on the show, but in real life they didn't get along very well. |
