Today's players are the highest paid ever in the game. They are the very best even though they are over paid.  They have hit the most Homeruns in the last 10 years than ever before.  They have a lot of power and they hit the ball very hard.  They also pitch very well. They have a lot of very good pitchers and it makes it very interesting when the best hitters come up against the best pitchers.  Even though the games are not high scoring they are very interesting.  They are making many great plays in the field.  To day the major league baseball is very fun to watch.  They are coming up with more and more pitches and the pitchers are getting better and better.  But the batters get better and they have to come up with new pitches.  They have All-Star Games half way through the year.  It is when the fans vote for the best and they play in a game.  They also have a Homerun Derby.
