Care

There are a lot of different needs for a Bichon Frise puppy. They, first and foremost, need a lot of attention. Bichon puppies can get very upset when they are not right where they can see you at all times. They love to be on your lap most of the day. If you are thinking of getting a Bichon, make sure that you are home for most of the day. They can get very lonely. Of course, like all dogs, Bichon pups need love. Bichon puppies also need, and like, socialization. After your pup visits the vet to get all of their shots, they can start socializing. They love to play with other puppies. Like any other dog, a Bichon needs a lot of exercise. They need to be walked once or more a day for them to stay fit and healthy. Toys are also important for your puppy to have. They can play with them when the family members aren’t around. Puppies love to chew on small bones and chew toys. It is good for their teeth and it soothes them. They also love to retrieve rubber balls. It is good to get them a small ball to chew on and to run after. An essential for any dog is the crate. The puppy can lie in their crate when the family is sleeping. The crate is also good so you know your puppy is safe when you leave your house for a while. You know that they are not getting into anything. Like any dog, they need grooming. Ask your friends, if they have a puppy, which groomer that they recommend, if any. Finally, dogs need food and water. I recommend feeding your pup at breakfast and dinner. Leave their water out all day so they can sip it periodically. Puppies have a lot of needs!
