Fall   Out Boy

The members in Fallout Boy are as follows: Patrick Stump (who does vocals and guitar), Peter Wentz (who does bass), Andrew Hurley (who does drums), and Joseph Trohman (who does guitar).  The four members were best friends, making it easier to work together.

The band Fall Out Boy was formed in the Chicago suburb of Wilmette in 2001.  They were brought together by luck.  The boys are very surprised that they came this far.  The band started off as a joke, just playing in a garage.

At their second gig the audience asked for a band's name but they did not have one.  an audience member shouted "Fall Out Boy" and the name stayed.

Fall Out Boy is a pop-punk band but they play soft core music that is pop and punk, but not pop-punk.  They started off as hardcore but then switched from hard to soft.  The transition was very easy for this band.
The members of this band are inspired by many other bands, such as Rush and Green Day.  They come from a hardcore background and write lyrics from a different perspective than that of other bands in their genre.

The band first hit with a three track demo.  Then they joined forces with a band called Project Rocket from Milwaukee to release a split CD.

Then was the album "Fall Out Boy's Evening with Your Girl" on February 25, 2003.  The next album that was released was "Take This To Your Grave" on May 26, 2003; followed by the EP "My Heart Will Always be the B-Side To My Tongue" on May 18, 2004.

Some songs by Fall Out Boy include "Sugar We're Goin' Down", and "XO".  Their newest album is called "Under The Cork Tree".
