Paul Coffey
Paul Coffey was a great
penguin player. He and others lead the penguins to their first Stanley
Cup Championship in 1991. He was traded to us from The Edmonton Oilers.
Although he only spent five years in Pittsburgh he left a mark as one of
the best penguin players ever. He finished his career with four Stanley
Cups, and two James Morris Awards.

Mark Recchi
Mark Recchi (the
wrecking ball) was one of the main reasons The Pittsburgh Penguins
success in the early 90’s. He had 7 All-Star appearances in his career
with the Penguins, and Flyers. He has two Stanley Cups along with those
All-Star appearances. Now Recchi has reunited with the Penguins hoping
for another cup.

Ron Francis
Ron Francis was
certainly a well-known Penguin player. Ron Francis was the fourth
overall pick in the1981-82 draft. After ten years with Hartford he was
traded to The Pittsburgh Penguins. He won two Stanley Cups. He also had
eight of his best years in Pittsburgh. Ron Francis is definitely a name
that Penguin fans will remember.

Tom Barrasso
Tom Barrasso was the
All-Star goalie that helped the Penguins win two Stanley Cups. He is the
winingist goaltender in NHL history. In his career Tom Barrasso won two
Stanley Cups. Tom Barrasso is the best goalie in Pittsburgh Penguin
history.

Jaromir Jagr
Jaromir Jagr is the
second best player in Pittsburgh Penguin history. Playing eleven years
in Pittsburgh he was easily a fan favorite. However Jagr was traded to
the Washington Capitals where he spent one year after being delt to the
New York Rangers. After one year there he quit American hockey to play
hockey in his homeland if the Czech Republic. Jagr finished his career
winning such trophies as The Art Ross Trophy, Hart Memorial Trophy, and
The Lester B. Pearson Trophy. He also won two Stanley cups. He will
always be remembered in Pittsburgh. |

Mario Lemieux
There is so much to say
about the best player in Pittsburgh Penguin history. With two Stanley
Cups and over 10 All-Star appearances he is a joy to watch. The former
17-year-old first overall pick impacted the Penguins. Pleged by injuries
he could have been the best ever. Mario Lemieux will never ever be
forgotten.
