  Drivers

We all have a driver. It's that big thing we all blast off the tee with. But nowadays, there are many advances in driver technology. There are much bigger heads and they are more forgiving than ever.

  Fairway Woods

There have been many advances in fairway wood technology too. They are made to help you get the ball out of the fairway. There are also hybrid woods designed to replace the 2,3,and 4 irons as these are the flattest and hardest clubs to hit. Most are also made with extra weight at the bottom to help you get the ball out of the rough.

   Irons

Irons have never been more advanced. Some of the types are: blade, cavity, and cavity-back to name a few. They are more forgiving and can be customized to fit. They are designed with the player in mind, which is why they are constructed to get the ball up in the air faster and stay up longer.

  Wedges

Wedges are used for that high, soft, and short shot. Almost every manufacture makes a wedge. They also come in different lofts. Some wedges are made with less loft so you don't have to hit one club really hard or another club really easy. This has made it easier for all golfers to get the ball close from all distances.

  Putters

The flat stick has undergone many facelifts and changes. It has gone from the old wooden mallet to all sorts of shapes and sizes that we see today. They're mostly metal these days. Most are normal looking. While some still are almost as big as your foot. The most famous small putter is called "Stubby". It is made by the Cleveland company and the club face is only about as big as the ball.

  Balls

Balls have also been upgraded lately too. They have advanced from simply wound balls to 300-400 dimpled designs on them. Some of the dimple designs are even in shapes. Most are circular designed, but Callaway makes a ball that has hexagonal dimple pattern.
