The main
basics are kicking, blocking, punching, and strength exercises. The
Basics are just like warm-ups. To get you and your body ready what we
will be doing in the class. We do basics everyday at the being of the
class that is how important it is to them. There is not a day without it.
If there is it is very unlikely to happen. If we don't do basics we do
our forms they are just as important so we may which from forms to
basics.

Basic
number one is just kicking. Now you can use kicking two different ways
one is to block or you can use it to fight back. There are different
kinds of kicks. So I am just going to name a few in-side out-side kick.,
out-side in-sidekick, round house kick, back kick, side kick, and etc.

Basic
number two is punching. You can not block with this basic, the only
thing you can do is hurt someone with it. The best place to hurt someone
is low, center, or high. You can hit the person in all three places that
will hurt them even more. One thing you don?t want to do is punch them
in the arm that will make them even madder. We don?t want them to get
mad.

Basic
number three is blocking. There are so many blocks. Just to name a few
blocks there is a in-side out-side block, out-side in-side block, low
block, high block, high knife hand block, and low knife hand block. That
is just a few of the blocks; there are so many more blocks I don't now.
Oh, and there is middle knife hand block too.

Basic
number four is that exercises. We do exercises everyday before class.
After class sometimes we do six step push ups, regular push ups, Korean
push ups, and jump kicks in place for thirty seconds to a minute. Maybe
even jumping jacks. Before class we do waist twists, side bends, front
to back, knees elbows and neck.
