Bernese Mountain Dogs are the most gentle giants and friendliest dog breed around. They are strong enough to pull carts and gentle enough to play with my guinea pig and snuggle with me. Berners (the official short name for Bernese Mt. Dog) are in the working dog class and they originally pulled milk carts in their homeland of Swiss Canton of Bern. Their coat is shining black, medium length and slightly wavy or straight.
