There is no breed of do that can not be trained. So when someone says there dog is unattainable they are lying or don't have enough patience. If you are not patient a beagle is not for you. Beagles are very slow learners. So you might have to repeat the trick or whatever you did over and over again. Beagles are sometimes in the "slow" category. It will take a lot of patients to train it. The beagle wants to please its master so it will try to learn.

The key to training your beagle is when it is a puppy start teaching it. So when your beagle is a puppy and it is doing something bad and you don't correct him or her it will continue to do the same thing when it  gets older. So when you correct him or her say "no" in a strong strict voice and point at him too. when you see him or her doing something bad that you don't want it doing when it grows up than turn it away from it give him or her a bone or a toy to chew and play with instead. Interact with your dog a lot too this will also help prevent bad behavior.

The crate theory is simple all it is is a crate that you put your dog in when it is bad  or when it sleeps. So when you go to bed at night and your worried about your dog running away or going to the bathroom on your floor or whatever just simply put him or her in the crate that you have. So if your dog goes to the bathroom inside, than put him in the cage only if you catch it it in action. Otherwise it will have no idea what it did wrong.

Sport is a competition where you show off your dog and show tricks and basic qualities a dog should have. Some of these competitions require puppy kindergarten (this is a place where they teach your dog manners and stuff they should know how to do in a competition).(up above to the bottom and the sides are some examples of competitions and puppy school)

A lot of dogs used to be used for hunting now not a much but if you still do than hopefully you use beagles. Beagles are especially good at rabbit hunting. Those who use the beagle hunting for small game find the breed has few equals.

These special dogs visit hospitals and the elder people. they use them to help them with there pain. when one of these people see the beagle come in scientist said it gives the person a great therapeutic value.
