It also has been seen attacking boats. The Mako has extremely strong fins. It also has a narrow body that is why it moves so fast.

| The Mako shark eats only a few things as a youngster. One of the foods is small fish. The other food is squid. When the Mako gets older it is able to eat bigger fish. It can do that because the develop speed and strength as they get older. Some of the bigger foods they eat are marlins, smaller sharks, and swordfish. The Mako needs the energy from the food to go fast. That is why the Mako has to eat a lot. Makos get their food almost every time they hunt. |
