Michigan

Michigan has evolved but there determination and heart hasn't. There big blue style and helmet design is like no other. Michigan is a renown school for its football program. Plus its a good school to get into. Founded in 1817, the university is 20 years older than the state. The University of Michigan's home town is Ann Arbor, a small city of 110,000 people. The Michigan Wolverines are named after a compact, tenacious animal known for never backing down from a fight, no matter what the odds.
Going into the rose bowl in 1990, Michigan's running attack had pounded out an average of 182 yards per game during the regular season. To stop the run, Washington state brought eight or nine players up along the defensive line, forcing Michigan to throw the ball to gain yardage. Michigan did, shredding the Huskies defense for 251 yards and three touchdowns on 18-for-30 passing en route to a 21-16 Wolverines victory.

Lets not forget the coaches and players of Michigan. In 1995-1997 Charles Woodson a wide receiver had 18 interceptions and 164 tackles. 1997-1998 Anthony Thomas a running back had 1440 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. In 1938 coach Fritz Crisler coached Michigan to victory.
