Over the past year, teenagers have enjoyed watching and listening to the teen heart-throb do his thing! And if you guessed Jesse McCartney, you were right! He has been doing a very good job over the past year with everything he has been doing!

Jesse was born in Irving, New York on April 19th 1987. He is currently 18 years old. Both of Jesse's parents were in show business so he followed their footsteps when he was only age 7!

When Jesse was only 7 years old he joined the singing group Sugar Beats and later he pursued acting. He also joined another boy band when he got older called Dream Street.

You may have recognized him from the theater productions Oliver, The King and I, and A Christmas Carol. Then, in 1998, he got a role on the soap opera, All My Children.

McCartney was also in the boy band Dream Street which hit the Bill Board's in the late 1990's to the early 2000's. Recently Jesse has released his debut solo album, Beautiful Soul in spring of 2005. Now Jesse has been working on a television show Summerland which just finished the first season! So make sure you are looking out for another new season.
