Jack Lambert

 

Jack Lambert was a part of the Steel Curtain.  He led the defense at linebacker.  He lost his front teeth in a football game. He was the second round draft pick in 1974.  Lambert is in the Hall of Fame 90’.  There are a lot of other good people in the Hall of Fame that year like Franco Harris, Tom Landry, and Buck Buchanan.

 

 

 

“Mean” Joe Greene, Dwight “Mad Dog” White, and L.C. Greenwood were also apart of the Steel Curtain.  He is on of the Steeler greats because he led the Steel Curtain to be the best defense ever.
 

Two-time NFL Defensive Player of the year.  He went All-Pro eight times.  Lambert was in nine straight Pro Bowls.  Jack was in six AFC title games and in four Super Bowls.  Jack had twenty-eight interceptions, seventeen fumble recoveries, and had eight sacks.
