Franco Harris is probably the best Steeler running back there ever was. He ran for so many yards in his career. Harris is the one who caught the "Immaculate Reception". Bill Duudley started the Steeler running game and Franco mastered it. | |
| He is in the Hall of Fame 90'. Jack Lambert was inducted into the Hall of Fame that same year. He broke tackles, caught passes and did any else. He is one of the Steeler greats because he did so much for that team. Franco had his "Franco's Italian Army" which were fans of the Steeler and Franco. |

Franco was the number draft pick of the 1972 draft. He was All-Pro in 1977 and All-AFC three times. Harris was in eight Pro Bowls and Most Valuable Player for Super Bowl IX. He rushed for over twelve thousand one hundred twenty yards with ninety-one touchdowns. Franco had two thousand two hundred and eighty-seven receiving yards with nine receiving yards. | |
