  History

Basketball, bad Minton, or volleyball all can't be traced back to its roots, but soccer you can be traced to a specific person or place. It's completely likely that soccer was a sport that was prehistoric times. It's believed that a game in 400B.C. in China was played like soccer. Also there's evidence of a similar game at A.D. in Rome that soccer games in the sense about the goal lines and passing, didn't have the hand restrictions that today's game has.

in the middle ages adults and children played a similar game of soccer but the rules changed depending on how many people played it. The game became so popular and absorbing that in the 1300's the king of England tried to actually ban the sport because it was interfering with young men's military training.

In the 1800's the game soccer as we known, it emerged. The number of players and the size of the field got smaller. In 1848 the first set of soccer rules was put down. On the game of soccer is very popular in the world.

  Rules

The object of the game is to get more goals than the other team in 90 minutes. The time always runs only if there was an injury or technical problem called by the referee.

The kickoff is in the center of the field. The teams flip a coin to see who will kickoff. Whoever team gets to kickoff in the beginning of the game. The other time get to kickoff at half time. The person who kickoff the ball can't touch the ball till another player on their or the opposite team touches the ball.

In the game of soccer you can not touch the ball. The only person who can touch the ball is the goalie. The only time any one else is a loud to touch the ball is when the ball goes out of bounds.

                        Out of Bounds

If the ball goes out of bounce, passed the side lines, the ball is thrown in by the opposite team that kicked the ball out of bounds. when the ball is out of bounds it is the only time a player, (excepted the goalie) can touch the ball. The ball has to be thrown with two hands holding the ball, your arms must be straight over the head, your feet has to be on the ground at all time when throwing the ball. At the end lines the player can kick the ball inbounds, but if the offensive team kicked the out of bounds inside of the rectangle of the goalie. It is called a goal kick because the goalie kicks the ball. If the ball is kicked out of bounds by the defensive player instead of a free kick it is a corner kick.
