George Harrison & Ringo Star

                   

 

George Harrison was born in 1943 in Liverpool, England. He joined John and Paul’s band at the age of 15 and quickly became the lead guitarist. He was known as the mysterious one who talked little, or not at all to the public

 

                      In 1969 George wrote the hit songs “Something” and “Here Comes the Sun” for the Beatles last album, Abby road. In 1970 George went solo and later released the hit” My Minds Set On You” In 2001 George Harrison tragically died of lung and throat cancer.
                       Ringo Starr was born on July 7, 1940 in Liverpool England he was first in a group called The Hurricanes but later joined The Quarrymen and became the drummer. He was well known for his ability to keep a good beat and to write songs a few of which were put on Beatles albums.
                      He produced to solo albums while with the Beatles. So when they split in 1970. He had drummed for some of John and Yokos records. In 1957 he sang for Frank Zappa. Today Ringo is still alive and well. He continues to produce his own unique style of music.
