In soccer everything moves, and nothing is hidden. Players are constantly in motion. In a one hour game the ball is in play moving among and between players for almost fifty minutes. Spectators are caught up in the action, which changes direction, speed, and pace. The object in soccer is to put the ball in the goal. Nothing else is more important besides not letting the other team score. With such a large goal and a small ball scoring should be east. But there is one problem the other team. They have another plan, trying to put the same ball in the other goal. |

Offense is played both as a team and one-on-one. The player with the ball decides what to do next, but the larger possibilities are determined by the way the movements of the teammates without the ball. The ball handler must know what is happening all around the field and be able to give him self enough time to make an effective play towards the goal. |

Offensive teammates should keep constantly giving the player with the ball passing options and to distract the defenders and pull them away from the ball. A moving offensive team creates confusion because defenders must watch the player with the ball and be aware of the rest of the team as well. |
