The Playstation 3 is to be released next year, spring 2006. When it comes out in the US, it will probably cost around three hundred dollars. The Playstation 3 will be able to play PS1 and PS2 games, DVD’s and music CDs. It will be around thirty-five times more powerful than the Playstation 2 is! It will also, of course, have online play. Sony, though, are keeping secrets until later. |

| The Xbox was unveiled to the world on May 12, 2005, but the release date isn’t until that fall. This Xbox allows you to create your own system. There are many different ‘skins’ to customize you Xbox 360. It’s said to provide a gaming experience that is more expansive, dramatic, and lifelike. San Francisco-based Astro Studios and Osaka, Hers Experimental Design Lab, Inc., can together to craft the Xbox 360. |

| There are many good things about both consoles. The PS3 is said to be twice as fast as the Xbox 360, but the Xbox is said to produce cleaner, clearer graphics. The Xbox has many different skins to but and slap over the plain white, while the PS3 comes in silver, white, and black. The Xbox may still be the king of online games with this generation, but the same is the same. Games like Madden 2006 came out on the PS2 and original Xbox, but are also being released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. While some games are still being made for the two originals, many companies are moving on to produce PS3 and Xbox 360 games.
